Starting at Palmer street restaurant and coffee shops travel south west on road to Charters Towers turning right at western outskirts of Townsville up Mount Stuart. It´s interesting with loads of corners for about 10km up the mountain. This road also hosts hill climbs so you get the picture. Great views at top of lookout. Beware road surface can be rough visibility poor on some very tight corners and the occasional tourist on wrong side of the road. If your game and don´t push it then it´s a great half hour biking!
