Coming into Litchfield from Bachelor is all bitumen. If you come off the Mandorah road there is a lot of dirt, okay for your GS types, but for my Thunderbird the Bachelor road is the only way to go. Off season is great as you don\'t get the tourists. Some dirt on road where 4x4 tracks come off the main, but its one of the few rides in the top end so can\'t complain.

This unusually twisty and quite well surfaced road is surely an enigma in this area. Enjoy
