This is a great canyon route BUT BEWARE you do not want to take this route during or just after a heavy rain. There are sections that are susceptible to flash flooding, and afterwards there is mud and rocks left over the roadway, so just be aware of those possibilities. It is very remote, and very little traffic.

Simply amazing road with great views, nice surface and lots of corners. It can be very hot in the summer though.

Beautiful red rock canyon and desert road. Good pavement and no traffic.

One of the best kept secrets in western Colorado. Hardly any traffic. Spectacular scenery. Nice curves. Be sure to ride it if you ever get the chance.

One of the best motorcycle roads in the US. Spectacular rock formations around every curve. You have the road to yourself as this is not widely used by locals. Far from large cities and towns but SW Colorado has some fantastic mountain scenery, red rock formations and nice small towns. Unique.

Leave from Grand Junction on Highway 50 before turning right on Colorado Highway 141. This road will take you through the spectacular red rock scenery of the Unaweep Canyon. A truly memorable experience.
