A good road although a few corners are prone to some gravel, especially after heavy rain.

i add this to a few others & make a half day ride out from lavenham to hadleigh then through over to raydon cut a cross to manningtree / mistly or down to colchester to sudbury routes worth spending 30 min b4 deciding on a nice ride with this watch out for the sunday granday drivers in places

This is a good route, id recommend the B1071 south from Lavenham then taking B1115 through Little Waldingfield also as a good route near by.

Nice twisty road with not to much traffic and plenty of other road options at start and end.
