Another off the radar short route that is exceptional. Like most riders from outside the area, I took the D526 as part of a tour route to Le Bourg-d-Oisans and the Alps. Although this is a short run, its brilliant and what a find! Near La Mure there is canyon bridge that is a bungy jumper favourite. Scenery very good, not fantastic, but its the road that matters here and it is a special one indeed.
Anyone travelling over Col dOrnon shouldn miss this natural extension.
