Fresh Pavement heading west from the Ferry, rode this Summer 2014, Excellent road ,just get in front of the ferry traffic!!!

Brilliant run and a toss up between a 4 or 5 star road. I went with 4 because there are an average number of straights. But, ideally Hwy 6 has just about everything - big sweepers, some tight twisties, a mental sinuous section near Needles, broad valleys, big mountains and forests. The Needles - Fauquier ferry across Lake Arrow is free.
