This ride can start and end at any of the Ice Cream, coffee shops, or fuel stops along the way. It is unbelievable until you ride it. Sharp turns abound on the green lake road near the North end of the route, but the rest is a mixture of lazy sloping turns with great views and a smattering of well marked sharp turns that you can lean in to. We suggest riding it clockwise starting near tuc-el-nuit lake on BC-97 so that the most technical/intense parts are around the halfway point near the north west side of the circuit. This way after your pit stop you have the more relaxed ride back South with less hairpins and only one blind turn (marked at 40km/h) Suggested stops: Tickleberry's Ice Cream shop: Just google this place. I can't describe it. Caitlin's Restaurant: Be ready for BIG PORTIONS and magically tasty food in this funky little hole in the wall that hits all the right places for a mid-ride meal. Mr Spud's truck just a short hop off the route on Main street in the town of Oliver. I can't say enough about this man or his food. Just treat yourself to some creamy garlic fries and a battered hot-dog, or if you like eating stuff that doesn't breathe air; I am told his battered cod is ridiculously good.) Honestly, I was hesitant to post this, because even on a magnificent Saturday we had the whole road North pretty much to ourselves. But you folk should get a chance to see this too. Just try to keep it to weekdays so you don't muck up my Saturday!
