Rode it today, something just less than 50% of the roads are very rough. Not sure if the scenery and enjoyable complexity of Hwy 146 is worth the beating. Only saw one trooper and one local LE while riding, very low LE presence. A few oil field trucks and light car traffic. Winds were brutal at times, just the nature of this time of year. The rough nature of the roads were my biggest complaint. Of course I´m from Texas and they tend to care for their roads infrastructure much better than what LA apparently does....
