My second favorite road in the area after 421. This gem doesn't get any of the attention of people that ride Tail of the Dragon or the Cherohala Skyway or The Moonshiner or even TN 32. Their loss. This road is so fun it should be illegal. That said, as mentioned, it is pretty damn dangerous and I did see a black bear that was grazing near the edge of the road my last trip down there. So, be careful. However, if you're in for a good time and have solid nerves this is most certainly the road for you. I recommend a down and back from Blue Ridge to Blue Ridge.
