Western CT has some of the nicest roads in the NY tristate area. This there-and-back loop makes a nice half-day ride with simple navigation and wonderful scenery. A solid 28 mile stretch of US 7 is designated a scenic road. Start and end is at an easy-to-find Mobil gas station in Danbury, just off I-84. Recommended eateries are TKs American Cafe in Danbury (legendary wings) and the Sycamore Drive-In in Bethel (great burgers), both of which can be found by searching the net.
