i like this route a bit of warm up if your heading for helmsley further on and the Yorkshire TT over to Stokesley.

not the worst road in the area and not the best either just average

not a particularly inspiring stretch of road, at least it gets you away from the main drags round here, but no other redeeming features really.

Police presence is minimal, however a number of the Northern forces tend to use it as a training run in cars and on bikes. There are farms on the road so watch out for dirt on the surface and farm vehicles travelling slowly and pulling in / out. There are a few corners where the road appears to go straight ahead when infact this is a farm track and the road bends to one side or the other. Open your eyes, ride safely and enjoy.
