At the roundabout at Hodnet, go straitover into Hodnet Village, to top of village , as road does a 90 right, take the junction strait ahead instead. Some nice twisty corners for the next few miles, and will bring you out onto A41, take a left and head towards Whitchuch, to stop for a brew at Prees Heath transport Caff. Watch out for the gestapo van in the 50 along the A41!

A fast, sweeping A-road through the pleasant Shropshire countryside. A good alternative to the lorry-plagued A41. Apart from the 40 mph limit through Crudgington, this road is very fast and smooth. Beyond Hodnet, it's still a cracking road, but much tighter and twistier.
