Very nice little run which can be extended into a figure of 8 by including the road to Charterhouse and Ubley Warren. Lilypool Cafe is very much a bike cafe and worth a stop, great breakfasts and mugs of tea.

This can be a tricky one. Best time to ride this road is on a weekday. Cheddar gorge gets overrun with tourists and cyclists. I prefer this route in an anticlockwise direction. Very rarely see any police up on the Mendips. There is some seriously quick roads up there. The Waterfall Cafe in Cheddar is very bike friendly and is a popular meeting place Enjoy and take it steady in Cheddar Gorge.
