This is a fantastic route that takes about 1.5 hours, great for getting up to or back from Snowdonia. The first section to Bala is pretty well known, fast sweeping bends with beautiful scenery, always be on your guard for the police, it is one of there favorite roads too & patrol it often but we didn't see any this time!

The second part of the road is tighter,twistier & has some very beautiful scenery but also some scary corners. It is a mountain pass,watch for tight hairpins,big drops & sheep!!
