Great road guys with the new Tarmac on most of but keep going to Jaen there's a reservoir to skinny dip in on the way so you and the bike can cool off. There is plenty more of the same all the way.
Have done it twice now with pillion and my sons on their GS'S once from Grenoble via Pyrenees and last year via San Sabastien
Thanks for this one Robin.
Im spent most of December at my place near Rincon de la Victoria and have riden a few of the roads youve recorded on this site, but this is by far the most enjoyable. Ive riden it twice now and will return in April when we get back from Oz. Superb.
Very nice road, some very nice corners and decent surface.
Right on the outskirts of Malaga (opposite side of town to airport).
Been back and done it again!
Even better than I remembered it! Must get a mention in for Russell at for a superb rental service.
If you have never thought of fly-ride then try a weekend, you will come back!
Entire new road surface December 2007, totally flawless. Amazing view over Malaga for 1st quarter. Amazing views over mountains above Velez Malaga and down to the Med during middle section. Amazing views north over the Torcal Park limestone mountains during last quarter. Sharp switchbacks in first 3km and last 2km. Apart from 1 slow bend halfway the rest is perfectly balance twisters and winding straights. I rode an R1200GS Adventure but anything from an R6 to a Goldwing will work. Party trick is the twin corkscrew when you go over youself twice. Rode nearly 2000km in 5 days around Andalucia - its just incredible nearly everywhere but this road was just perfect. Went back 6 times!
