Whilst on holiday, I rented a Yamaha XJ6N and had a blast around this area.
Need to watch out for some strong cross-winds on some of the high roads, and some bends, mid-corner, do tighten quickly.
A few stretches of road out of Alzejur are waiting to be relayed so one has to take it easy if on a road bike for those stretches; but the later sections are good smooth surfaces.
