As said the police can and do sit in the restricted speed sections on bends after a straight. have also seen alot of rocks falling from the side into the road so keep your eyes open but don let all this put you off trying this road as its well worth doing for the views alone.

A series of nice corners - when done from September to June its realy wonderfull ; virtualy no cars . If done in July - August period its crowded .The road surface is pretty good exept after You pass 2 km the city of Senj (going southbound) where in the series of tights It may be a bit slippery Pay attention in Novi Vinodolski and Karlobag as there can be police cars checking Your speed ;).
