Rode this July 22, 2014. Unfortunately the road had lots of sand in the corners and many spots where the road was being repaired with patches of gravel. I would avoid this road until the repairs are complete as it takes the joy out of the ride.
I did this route on July 17, 2014. There was road work and sand in the corners, so it´s hard to recommend. The road conditions vary from very good to poor. Corners are unpredictable as is visibility, so you´re always on edge. If conditions improve, it could be a great route.
Nice winding road with lots of curves. If it wasn't for the poor condition of the road, this road would've been one of the best biking road in Ontario. Road runs through woods, swamps and badlands. Watch for potholes, gravel, cyclists and wildlife. There is a railroad track that creeps up on you around a corner, so pay attention to road signs.
