This is a route that winds along the south shore of Bay of Islands and has great views of the mountains and shoreline. Cooks Brook to Frenchmans Cove is a mixture of rural and villages but has some good scenery and corners. Good ride from Frenchmans Cove to Lark Habour.as it is mostly rural and winds along the base of Blow Me Down Mountain. Spectacular scenery past Frenchmans Cove. Speed limit is a ridiculously low 60 kph or less but locals travel about 80 sometimes more. Because of moose, use extreme caution in early mornings or late evenings and avoid night riding.
