I begin at Sand Run Parkway in Akron. A short way in the creek water (shallow) crosses the road as you travel through the tree covered road. Once on River Road you´ll experience nice curves and straightaways as you go North along the Cuyahoga River. Peninsula (Route 303) is a nice place with shops, restaurants and a great view of the river and railroad. River view Road between Vaughn Road & Route 82 has some loose gravel on pavement but does not last very long. Chaffee Rd is a nice straightaway. Valley View Road/Canal Road has last a few sweeping curves as it follows alongside the canal. As you drive out of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and cross Rockside Road you are back in an urban setting. I like to end my ride North with a stop at Quaker Steak & Lube (Biker friendly). It´s a nice country feeling ride so close to urban areas of Akron & Cleveland.
