The route through Rosedale is really nice (old Live Oaks, plantation homes, wood canopied roads, pasture views), which leads you to New Roads and a view of False River. It ends with a run down the Mississippi levee and and hop over the Huey P. Long bridge back to Baton Rouge. If you start at with the Big Head Route (http://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcycle-roads/motorbike-ride_92a310.html) you can take a ride through Downtown Baton Rouge and end up back at the I-10 brdge where you started.
