This is a very nice ride. Elevation gets over 8000 feet so it is best from Spring to early fall. We rode it this weekend (late March) and the weather was beautiful in the mid 50s. Plenty of snow still on the ground for some great vistas. Plan for about 2 hours to ride this route with another 1-2 hours for lunch. I highly recommend the Pulled Pork Grabbers at the Hot Spot. This place is not meant for the politically correct minded folks. It is a feel free to write on the walls type of place. If your in the mood for a tamer place... Check out Chads Place. Its nice too.
