The closer you get to Point Reyes Lighthouse, the narrower and less maintained this road becomes. Also, a few hundred yards before the parking for the lighthouse is a sand drift. It is clearly marked but up to 3 to 4 inches of sand can accumulate. Ride with caution in this section.
