Mostly quiet b roads with lots of different corners and hazards to keep you focused. Stretch between barley and wendens ambo the road surface was quite badly rutted/polished in places last time rode it but it doesn't cause to much of a problem. Lots of pubs en route for a stop. The queens head in Newton is worth checking out.
