This only a 6 mile stretch of road but if you are on the A830 Fort William to Mallaig make sure you turn off at Arisaig and take this wonderful 6 mile diversion. This used to be the original road before the A830 was built and it snakes along the coast past some fabulous sandy beaches and coves. Make sure you stop at the wee car park at Glenancross and wander down to the Camusdarach beach.
