Last May rode the Suwalki gap to Baltic states from Suwalki to Kaunas up the A5, that had heavy construction work and many delays. However on the return I rode from Vilnius ,Alytus, Augustaw , that was fantastic, with gorgeous scenery and no traffic.

Road which you will probably visit when entering from Lithuania to Poland. If you like dragging your footpegs and ain´t afraid of some trucks - this road is for you!

What an unexpected gem of a road! This is a motorway classified road (so very good surface and open visisility, etc) but it is a roller coaster of one fast sweeper after another, what a fantastic find!
