A local favorite. Road surface is still very good from Sande to Eidsfoss. A bit of construction work taking place up along Eikeren now, so the further north you go on this route the worse the road gets. But still acceptable.

Nice route, especially Hof-Sande is very curvy.

The first part of this route goes up the Hanekleiv hills from Sande. It has lots of fun corners and was recently (2007) repaved, so it is in good condition. From then you head North towards Eikern lake.

At Eidsfoss Verk there is a very nice small shop and a good café / restaurant where it is well worth stopping. There is also a good community museum for the previous mill.
