One of the most special pieces of tarmac in the South Island. If you thought the main road over to Akaroa was good try this. Is near empty almost all the time and has the perfect balance of straights and corners in a twisty and engaging series of sections with multiple off-roads to the various bays. Gets truely unbelievable views of Akaroa to boot. Absolute Gem.
