A bumpy and nice road leads from Paleokastro to Zakros. The road continues with fantastic scenery over the coastline until you reach the waterfront Kato Zakros. There are lot taverns and cafes over the beach for relaxation. Don't miss to visit the old road that connects Zakros with Kato Zakros through the impressive gorge of the dead.
