Rode this route earlier this week going South to North. Superb climb up to the col with spectacular views. The road surface is a bit patchy near the top on the northern side but presents no problems. The whole Vosges region is a must do...... enjoy!

This ascent starts off a bit residential then reaches the summit via lots of hairpins and coming down through the forestis a reall treat, good surfacegood viz, just be on the look out for cyclists.

This is a wonderful ride through beautiful scenery. This part of France is no on most peoples touring agenda and is, perhaps, all the better for it. Explore this whole area, it's fun.
