Pretty much a standard highway. Goes through Pine Forests which is nice for scenery - but be alert. Kangaroos and Wombat are definite hazards especially from dusk till dawn. This is a Highway Patrolled road, so chances of police are high. There´s nothing that´s going to get you leaned over, but it´s not an unpleasant ride. But the region is pleasant and a nice place to visit.

Nice scenic road with some very nice coastal lookouts and top spots on the Glenelg river. plenty of wildlife to keep you looking. the road surface is good most of the time, can see the odd log truck. just a good easy trip any time just watch out for kangaroos.
