I used to ride this road heaps. Great scenery, as many great twisties as you can handle. Just be careful going through the towns during tourist season, coppers and tourists make an interesting mix. Avoid on the weekends, too many slow drivers watching the scenery. Some VERY tight corners, those speed recommended signs are accurate when listing "30" kmph. The road out to Monbulk is fantastic, from there to Emerald, and onto Belgrave is what riding is all about! Moderate leaf litter, watch the surface before 10am, usual stuff.
