This route mostly avoids the highways but watch out for permanent speed cameras on the Tasman Bridge and the approach to Hobart Airport. The route back is via Mud Walls road and Richmond before re-entering the highway to Hobart city. You will mostly be on tight twisty country roads so be aware of dirt kicked over the bitumen by farm vehicles.
