The national park is great but you need to go early as to avoid tourist traffic and police.
Road surface is a bit choppy in places but all in all pretty good. Just need to watch out for green moss on the edge of some sections where the trees keep the sun out especially if it has rained recently. Views from Bald hill and along the coast are great.
