Great road! Especially Judy Gap and the part up WV and down VA, or vice versa, if coming from the east. Pavement is usually in pretty good shape. Traffic can be a bit of a concern, but there are plenty of passing lanes in many spots. Lots of great vistas, a few gas stations to fill up/hang out. This road speaks of West Virginia. This road is not 'up there with The Tail of the Dragon' Let's not get carried away, but it is still a damned good road.
Amazing road with lots of great twisties. The seven mile stretch spanning the state line with West Virginia rivals the "Tail of the Dragon" for twisties. The road condition is mostly excellent.
