Can a road have too many corners? Doing this road might have you asking this question to yourself. They just keep coming with virtually no straights to allow you to relax. The GI-550 in particular had so many corners that I had to pull over and get off the bike so I could catch my breath. A relentless stretch of road mostly surfaced very well, the only surface issues being leaves which had dropped by the right hand side of the road. Not much of a view to speak of; you're surrounded by forest although you are reminded once or twice that this is a mountain road. I've ridden some spectacular roads in my time, but for sheer cornering thrills this quite possibly my new favourite. Highly recommended!!
