A wicked ride going through Hellshoogte pass from stellenbosch and stopping for breakfast in franschoek.. Can´t wait to get back to CT to ride it again

Often found police blockades just before Stellenbosch. Otherwise, a great ride. Stop over at Hillcrest Berry farm for tea or have lunch at Tocara wine farm.

If you start from Stellenbosch, it is slightly uphill, so depending on what you like you should either start in Stellies or end there. I usually come from Cape Town on the N1, then take the Franschoek turnoff. Ride direction Franschoek untill you get to the sign that says Stellenbosch ->. Turn right there and you will end up on the pass after a few minutes. It is a very nice big road, with 2 lanes each direction, very little bumps in the road, awesome bends!
